The GIA Junior Gemologist Program™

Children around the globe are fascinated by minerals and gems. GIA ignites their love of them through the Junior Gemologist Program—a dazzling introduction to the world of gemology. Taught by expert gemologists at our headquarters in Carlsbad, California, and in South Africa and Botswana, the Junior Gemologist Program makes the complexities of gemology easily understood by all. It also meets federal curriculum guidelines, and enriches school district and youth science programs.
